Sabu Dana Khichdi Recipe

Recipe On :  Sabu Dana Khichdi
Steps & Ingredients  Required To Prepare Sabu Dana Khichdi

  • 1 cup Sabudana / Sago
  • 1 medium sized Potato (boiled)
  • 2 Green chillies (chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Ginger (grated)
  • 3 stalk Curry leaves
  • 3 tbsp Peanut (roasted)
  • 1 tbsp Ghee
  • Salt to taste
  • A pinch of Hing
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
  • 1/4 tsp Mustard seed
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice

Steps / Method:
  1. Soak the sabudana overnight.
  2. Wash it thoroughly in the next morning or after 7-8 hours.
  3. Cut the boiled potatoes into cubes.
  4. Heat ghee in a pan, and add cumin and mustard seeds and allow to pop.
  5. Then put the hing, green chillies. grated ginger and curry leaves and saute for some seconds.
  6. Then put the potato into it and fry for 2 minutes.
  7. Then put the soaked sabudana , salt into it and cook in low flame for 4-5 minutes.
  8. Then put the lemon juice and roasted peanut into it and mix well.
  9. Then remove the dish from heat, and serve hot.

Chocolate Mousse Recipe


  • 200 gms semi sweetened Choclate (melted)
  • 5 tbsp Sugar
  • 3 Eggs
  • 2 tbsp Coffee (powdered)
  • 2 tbsp Butter
  • 1 cup heavy whipped cream

Steps / Method:
  1. Put eggs and sugar in a mixing bowl and whip it with electric beaters for 7-8 minutes or until the mixture is foamy.
  2. Then put the whipped cream into it and whip for another 2 minutes.
  3. Now mix the coffee, butter and melted chocolate in another mixing bowl.
  4. Then mix the eggs mixture into the chocolate mixture and whip it for 1 minute.
  5. Then pipe the mixture into serving bowls and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  6. Now choclate mousse is ready to serve.
