Gajar halwa

- 3 cups grated or shredded carrots
- 4 cups Milk
- 4 tbsp ghee/butter
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
- 2 tbsp roasted Cashew nuts
- 2 tbsp Raisins
- 2 tbsp green pista
METHOD:-
- Cook the milk on low flame for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Then add ghee in a hot frying pan and then add the shredded carrots.
- Fry the carrots for 10 minutes in medium flame.
- When the carrots changes its colour add milk into it.
- Then cook untill the milk dries.
- Then add sugar, cardamom powder and mix well.
- Now remove the pan from the flame and garnish with roasted cashew, raisins and green pista.
- It can be serve hot or cold.
