Recipe On : Sabu Dana Khichdi
Steps & Ingredients Required To Prepare Sabu Dana Khichdi
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Sabudana / Sago
- 1 medium sized Potato (boiled)
- 2 Green chillies (chopped)
- 1/2 tsp Ginger (grated)
- 3 stalk Curry leaves
- 3 tbsp Peanut (roasted)
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- Salt to taste
- A pinch of Hing
- 1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1/4 tsp Mustard seed
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
Steps / Method:
- Soak the sabudana overnight.
- Wash it thoroughly in the next morning or after 7-8 hours.
- Cut the boiled potatoes into cubes.
- Heat ghee in a pan, and add cumin and mustard seeds and allow to pop.
- Then put the hing, green chillies. grated ginger and curry leaves and saute for some seconds.
- Then put the potato into it and fry for 2 minutes.
- Then put the soaked sabudana , salt into it and cook in low flame for 4-5 minutes.
- Then put the lemon juice and roasted peanut into it and mix well.
- Then remove the dish from heat, and serve hot.
