Steps & Ingredients Required To Prepare Chicken Afghani
Ingredients:
- 1 kg Chicken breast
- 3 tbsp roasted onion paste
- 2 tbsp Ginger paste
- 3 tbsp Garlic paste
- 2 tbsp Butter
- 2 tbsp Cashewnut paste
- 1/2 cup Fresh cream
- 1 tbsp Poppy seeds paste
- Salt to taste
- 11/2 tsp Black pepper powder
Steps / Method:
- Wash the chicken thoroughly and drain excess water.
- Then make a paste with roasted onion paste, ginger paste, garlic paste, cashewnut paste, fresh cream, poppy seeds paste.
- Now marinade the chicken with the above paste.
- Then put salt and black pepper powder into it and mix well.
- Then refrigerate the chicken for 3-4 hours.
- Then pre heat the oven for 10 minutes at 200 degree celsius.
- Then bake for 15-18 minutes or until tendered.
- Brush the butter in every 5 minutes during baking.
- We may use a tandoor (charcoal grill) and cook untill chicken are tendered.
- Now chicken afghani is ready to serve, serve hot with corainder chutney.
